I just wanted to check, did you see my email from earlier in the week about protecting forests?
Over 34,000 people have already emailed Standard Chartered telling them to stop funding palm oil companies destroying forests, but we need even more people to join in. We know Standard Chartered want to publish their new policy soon, so there isn't much time.
The huge global bank is funding palm oil companies which are tearing down Indonesia's forests. Standard Chartered has said they will stop, but so far there's no sign they're serious about ending their role in deforestation.
Tell Bill Winters, Standard Chartered's chief executive, that he needs to step up and protect forests.
